One of the biggest complaints when it comes to scheduling in the college football season is the tough slate in the month of November, especially when it comes to the Auburn Tigers who have to play Georgia and Alabama both within three weeks, including both on the road every other year.
That problem may be solved soon according to Brandon Marcello of AuburnUndercover. According to Marcello, sources have said that Auburn, Georgia and the SEC are nearing an agreement to move the game to earlier in the season in either September or October starting in 2020 and potentially stay there through 2024.
Details have not been finalized, but the move would fix some of the problems with the tough November schedule.
