Auburn hosts Arkansas to try and improve conference standing

Auburn is back in the win column after a couple of tough losses to LSU and Ole Miss. The Tigers defeated Vanderbilt on the road this past Saturday 64-53 for their first win at Vanderbilt since February 16, 2000 losing their previous 10 meetings in Nashville.

They will host Arkansas tonight at 7:30 pm on the SEC Network to try and improve to a winning record in conference play. The Tigers currently sit at 6-6 in the SEC and 17-8 overall. Arkansas is currently at 5-7 and looking to jump into that next group of teams to increase their standing, but Auburn can stay alive for a top four seed with a win tonight.

Auburn has not faced Arkansas yet this season, and is statistically ahead of Arkansas across the board, averaging 81.7 ppg to Arkansas’ 76.9 ppg.

For the Tigers, Bryce Brown continues to be the leading scorer with 16.2 points per game. For the Razorbacks, sophomore Daniel Gafford is leading the way with 16.6 points per game along with 8.8 rebounds per game.
